James W. Goddard, Ph.D.

J.W. was born in California of Cherokee ancestry, in 1939.  He chased rabbits, listened to the wind, old legends and stories told by his Elders, watched colors changing in the skies and noticed the form of things around him.  With his parents, grandmother and an assortment of other relatives all attending the Church of Christ in San Diego, he has been attending the Church since birth, being baptized and becoming a Christian in 1949.

From this beginning, a life long interest in creativity has resulted in several significant works in the written form, one of the most popular of these being a series of just under one hundred hours of university level accredited courses, covering the topic of creative real estate finance.  These courses, which were taught in the seminar format by accredited instructors, were attended by in excess of a hundred thousand real estate agents and brokers.  Other creative writings included ghost writing advance creative real estate courses for several well-known real estate speakers, motivational and sales improvement programs for respected professionals in those fields.  The author of numerous articles for national magazines, investment manuals, made substantial contributions to the best selling book “Hidden Fortunes”, published by Simon and Schuster and many other textual projects.  Currently is in the process of writing a book entitled “Has Anyone Seen My Dream?”

Opening his studio in 1992, after retiring from a successful business career during which he served as Secretary-Treasurer and later as Executive Vice President of American Medical Systems, a publicly held corporation, as Partner in Roman & Francoeur, an investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, as President of International Hospital Supply, a publicly held corporation, as President of COS Professional Services, which arranged new office financing for over two hundred recent graduates of Chiropractic colleges, as President and Chairman of the Board of the American Real Estate Institute, which provided accredited real estate courses, as Vice President of the Lowry Group, Inc., as Managing Director of Access Equities, an international merchant bank and consulting service and as President of Troon Entertainment International, a publicly held company based in Beverly Hills, California, which at the time, was the largest producer of children’s films in the world.  In 1991, retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the California State Military Reserve.

Holds a B.S. from the University of California, Pomona, as well as, a M.B.A. and Ph.D., is married, has four children and four grandchildren.
